The data shows that all of the released offenders in Midlothian were men. The median age of the parolees was 38. The youngest parolee is a 24-year-old man sentenced for financial crimes or fraud in 2018, and the oldest is a 57-year-old man sentenced for crimes involving alcohol in 2018.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest is Walter Santoro. He was convicted of crimes involving drugs in 2008 when he was 39 years old. He is now 50.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
