The data shows that 11 men and four women were released in the Justice zip code. The median age of the parolees was 37. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old woman convicted of a property crime in 2018, and the oldest was a 66-year-old man convicted of a financial crime or fraud in 2018.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Gregory Coleman. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2005, when he was 22 years old. He is now 36.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
