City of Oak Forest Veterans Commission met Aug. 15.
Here is the agenda provided by the commission:
1. Pledge of allegiance

Sunday September 1st – Old Times picnic we will have a tent display and maybe fold flags.
November 11th Monday – Veterans Day, Ceremony at city council meeting on Tuesday the 12th 8:00 PM.
6. NEW BUSINESS:
Bill Becker has resigned from the commission because of family obligations. He’s a busy guy.
We are looking for Veterans to join our commission.
Anything for the good of commission or veterans? Once around the table.
7. ADJOURNMENT:
Our next meeting is Thursday September 19, 19:30 in the Blue Room.
