Illinois General Assembly: SB1599 actions on Aug. 20

The following actions were taken on Aug. 20 in the Senate on Senate bill SB1599 ("consumer fraud-criminal record"): "Public Act . . . . . . . . .", "Effective Date January" and "Governor Approved".

The bill, as it was introduced in the Senate by Sen. Elgie R. Sims, Jr. (D-17) on Feb. 15, "amends the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act in relation to the dissemination of criminal record information," according to the General Assembly website.
