City of Palos Heights Parks & Recreation Committee met Oct. 8.

a. Request approval to draft an ordinance to sell and / or trade-in the 2007 Chevrolet Impala, utilized by the Recreation Department to Currie Motors Commercial Center in the amount of $1,800.00.

b. Motion to approve the purchase of a replacement vehicle for the Recreation Department through the Suburban Purchasing Cooperative from Currie Motors Commercial Center in the amount of $22,923.00 minus a trade-in of $1,800.00 totaling $21,123.00.

c. Motion to approve change order for pool deck concrete project in the amount not to exceed $10,711.32. This includes additional drainage work, additional sand due to grading requirements, increased rebar spacing, removal and replacement of Pool Canopy, and removal of old diving stands.

d. Motion to approve Upland Design’s payment in the amount of $32,925.54 for work completed on the Palmer Park project.

e. Motion to approve facility fee waiver request of the Scouts of America, Troop 337, Eagle Scout Project for use of the Orchard room with kitchen on February 29, 2020.
