2) Recognition of Alsip’s Finance Director, Kent Oliven, for receiving a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting (AFRA) from Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). As the Finance Department Director Mr. Oliven was responsible for it having earned the certificate.

3) Approval to award the Parkway Tree Pruning contract to the lowest bidder of D. Ryan Tree Landscaping Services, LLC at a cost to not exceed Nineteen Thousand One Hundred Ninety-Six Dollars ($19,196.00).
E. Sewer and Water, Trustee Nava-Esparza
1) Approval to purchase Water Meters and FlexNet Radio at a cost not to exceed $61,075.00 for the ongoing replacement of residential water meters. This has been appropriated for in the FY20 budget.
2) Approval of the Water and Sewer September 2019 Monthly Activity Report.
3) Approval to award the Water Tower Rehabilitation and Painting contract to the lowest bidder, Tecorp Inc., in the amount of One Million Six Hundred Thirty-Nine Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($1,639,800.00).

1) Approval for Zeiler Management to rescind the rent freeze at the Heritage I and Heritage II apartment complexes and require all new leases issued to include a $10.00 per month increase, commencing January 1st, 2020. All residents will be notified by the management company upon passage of said request. This action is necessary to meet increased costs of labor, utility and capital projects.
