City of Country Club Hills City Council met November 4

City of Country Club Hills City Council met Nov. 4.

Here is the minutes provided by the council:

1. A Special Meeting of the City Council, City of Country Club Hills , County of Cook, State of Illinois , was held in the City Hall, 4200 W. 183rd Street at 7:35pm Monday, November 4, 2019. The meeting was called to order by the honorable James W. Ford, Mayor.

2. THOSE ON ROLL CALL ANSWERING PRESENT WERE:

Alderman Lockett, Davis, Glispie, Spivey constituting a quorum of the City Council and Mayor James W. Ford Alderwoman Evans was excused as absent

1. Call to Order:

James W. Ford, Mayor

2. Roll Call:

Patricia D. Hutson, City Clerk

3. Approval – Release and Indemnification Agreement

Alderman Lockett moved for Council approval of the Release and Indemnification Agreement. Second - Alderman Spivey

ROLL CALL VOTE:

4 Ayes: Ald. Lockett, Davis, Glispie and Spivey

0 Nayes:

0 Abstains:

1 Absent: Ald. Evans

Motion Carried Via Voice Vote and Hereby Made a part of the Original of Proceedings this date.

4. Public Portion of Meeting

Alderman Davis moved to open the floor to the public. Second-Alderman Glispie. Motion Carried Via Voice Vote.

Joyce Delk now of Plano, TX with the United Negro College Fund shared her appreciation to Mayor Ford, previous Mayor Welch and the City Council for their ongoing donations and support on behalf of it's members and college students.

Alderman Lockett moved to close the floor to the public. Second-Alderman Davis. Motion Carried Via Voice Vote and Hereby Made a Part of the Original of the Proceedings of this date.

Alderman Lockett moved to open the floor to the public. Second-Alderman Davis. Motion Carried Via Voice Vote.

5. Adjournment

A motion to adjourn was made by Alderman Lockett and Second by Alderman Davis.

Motion carried Via Voice Vote.

Meeting adjourned at 7:40pm
