The Park Forest Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet on Monday, November 17, at 7 p.m. at Village Hall, located at 350 Victory Drive. The meeting agenda includes decisions regarding the Aqua Center, village finances, redevelopment efforts in DownTown Park Forest, and business licensing regulations.

During the consent agenda portion of the meeting, trustees are expected to approve minutes from both the October 20 regular meeting and the November 1 rules meeting. They will also consider awarding a $53,640 contract to YAD Construction LLC for installing a commercial kitchen hood at 331 Founders Way, pending tenant lease agreement. Additional items include approving appointments and an hourly rate increase for three adjudication hearing officers.

Trustees will introduce two tax-related ordinances for first reading. One ordinance would levy taxes for corporate purposes for the fiscal year starting July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027. Another ordinance proposes abating part of the 2025 tax levy.

A motion is set for consideration to authorize an agreement with Williams Architects for architectural and engineering services related to redeveloping the Aqua Center. The construction budget for this project will be capped at $10 million.

The board will also discuss renewal registration and fee structures for business licenses within Park Forest.

Residents can access copies of the full agenda packet online through the village’s Agenda Center. Individuals needing accommodations due to disabilities may request assistance by contacting the Village Manager’s Office at least 48 hours before the meeting by calling either 708-283-5605 or 708-748-1129.

Further details about the agenda and supporting documents are available on the Village website.
