South Holland home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in South Holland rose by $500 while total sales decreased by 18.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 147 homes sold, with a median sale price of $142,500 - a 0.4% increase over the $142,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 181 homes sold in South Holland in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in South Holland for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $4,672, approximately 3.3% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
