Q3 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Justice?

There were six offenders released on parole during the third quarter that live in Justice zip codes, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Cook News.

The data shows that five men and one woman were released in Justice. Of the parolees, one is a veteran and the median age is 36. The youngest parolee was a 23-year-old man sentenced in 2015 and the oldest was a 49-year-old man sentenced in 2007.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Apollonio F. Anaya. He was convicted in 2015 when he was 18 years old. He is now 23.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below shows the 50 cities in Illinois with the most paroled offenders in the third quarter.
