2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Richton Park?

There were 27 offenders released on parole during 2019 that live in Richton Park zip codes, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Cook News.

The data shows that 25 men and two women were released in Richton Park. Of the parolees, one is a veteran and the median age is 33. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man sentenced in 2019 and the oldest was a 72-year-old man sentenced in 1983.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Latreal Veal. He was convicted in 2013 when he was 20 years old. He is now 27.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below shows the 50 cities in Illinois with the most paroled offenders in 2019.
