Village of Evergreen Park Board of Trustees met April 6.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

I. CALL TO ORDER: by Mayor Sexton at 7:30 P.M.

II. ROLL CALL: by the Village Clerk.

III. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: by Trustee Burke.

IV. OPEN PUBLIC FORUM: Village residents wishing to respectfully share thoughts about any matter concerning the Village may do so by submitting an e-mail to caparo@evpkadm.org by 6:00 p.m. on the date of the meeting. E-mails received will be read aloud during Public Comment and may be addressed by the Mayor and Board of Trustees the same evening or at a future meeting. We ask that you keep your email response to under 200 words to allow time for others to be heard and for the Board to progress through the public comment portion of the agenda.

V. TOPICS FOR BOARD DISCUSSION AND ACTION ONLY:

1. Approval of Minutes: March 2, 2020.

2. Board action on Resolution 10-2020 & 11-2020.

3. Village Water Collector’s Report for FEBRUARY 2020 for information and file.

4. Village Collector’s Report for FEBRUARY 2020 for information and file.

5. Village Treasurer’s Report for FEBRUARY 2020 for information and file.

6. Board action on Applications for Business Regulation Certificates.

7. Request Board approval of the following Ordinance(s):

A. ORDINANCE NO. 2-2020, “AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF 96TH STREET SOUTH OF THE CHI TUNG RESTAURANT IN THE VILLAGE OF EVERGREEN PARK, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

B. ORDINANCE NO. 3-2020, “AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF EVERGREEN PARK, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, APPROVING THE RESERVATION OF VOLUME CAP IN CONNECTION WITH PRIVATE ACTIVITY BOND ISSUES, AND RELATED MATTERS.”

C. ORDINANCE 4-2020, “AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF EVERGREEN PARK APPROVING A REAL ESTATE SALE CONTRACT FOR THE SALE OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 9148 SOUTH KEDZIE AVENUE, EVERGREEN PARK, ILLINOIS.”

8. Request Board approval to change the regular meeting of the Village Board to one meeting per month.

9. Disclosure from Trustee Kelly Burke regarding deliberations and voting on matters involving Odelson & Sterk, Ltd.

10. Village Engineer’s Report.

11. Village Attorney’s Report.

12. Reports on bid openings, bid lettings and disbursements.

13. Miscellaneous correspondence.

14. Request adjournment to Executive Session to discuss real estate, and personnel.

VI. ADJOURNMENT: The Open Meeting Act provides for public bodies to meet in sessions closed to the public to discuss certain subject matters. No official action can be taken at a closed session; therefore, any decision reached by the Board will be ratified at a subsequent public meeting.
