Analysis: Justice pays $1.56 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Roberts Park FPD Firefighters Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 60.4 percent of the $407,085 the Roberts Park FPD Firefighters Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $1.56 for every $1 from pension members, according to a South Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Justice contributed $245,864 to the fund, which saw a $873 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $157,398, or 38.7 percent, in 2018. Another $3,823 came from other unspecified sources.
