Analysis: Orland Park pays $3.03 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Orland Park Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 75.2 percent of the $3,953,580 the Orland Park Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.03 for every $1 from pension members, according to a South Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Orland Park contributed $2,974,807 to the fund, which saw a $194,045 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $978,773, or 24.8 percent, in 2018.
