Analysis: Orland Hills pays $3.48 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Orland Hills Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 77.7 percent of the $276,503 the Orland Hills Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.48 for every $1 from pension members, according to a South Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Orland Hills contributed $214,882 to the fund, which saw a $14,379 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $61,621, or 22.3 percent, in 2018.
