Analysis: Hazel Crest pays $4.63 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Country Club Hills Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 82.1 percent of the $1,888,679 the Country Club Hills Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.63 for every $1 from pension members, according to a South Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Hazel Crest contributed $1,550,303 to the fund, which saw a $96,889 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $334,263, or 17.7 percent, in 2018. Another $4,113 came from other unspecified sources.
