11. POLICE

A. Approval of Resolution No. 2020-08-0373R authorizing a sub award agreement between the City of Oak Forest and the County of Cook, which will result in $295,000.00 in funding for a Communications Tower and Resiliency Improvements. The attached memo from Police Chief Kristin, dated August 11, 2020, provides supporting details.

B. Purchase of 50 new Harris XLP200 portable Radios at a budgeted cost of $319,517.00 from Radiocom Inc. of McHenry, Illinois. The attached memo from Deputy Police Chief Reid, dated August 11, 2020, provides supporting details.

12. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

A. Approval of Resolution No. 2020-08-0374R accepting a bid for landscape installation at 159th Street and Cicero Avenue. The attached memo from Economic & Community Development Director Bandstra, dated August 5, 2020, provides supporting details.

B. Approval of Resolution No. 2020-08-0375R accepting a bid to clear vegetation and overgrowth at 16800 South Kilpatrick Avenue, the site of a former school. The attached memo from Economic and Community Development Director Bandstra, dated August 5, 2020, provides supporting details.

13. ADMINISTRATION

A. Discussion of a Car Show / Cruise Night in Oak Forest.

14. CITIZENS PARTICIPATION: The Oak Forest City Council invites public comment at its meetings, but it generally does not have the ability to provide an immediate response to some questions raised during the Citizens Participation portion of a council meeting without some reasonable opportunity to review them. Therefore, the City Council encourages questions to also be submitted in writing in the event that they need to be referred to City staff to help assure a more thoughtful and informed response. THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IS OPEN FOR THE PUBLIC TO ATTEND. SOCIAL DISTANCING MUST BE MAINTAINED BY ATTENDEES.

EXECUTIVE SESSION: The purpose is to discuss the purchase or lease of real property for use by the City of Oak Forest, including meetings held for the purpose of discussing whether a particular parcel should be acquired, and to discuss the setting of a price for the sale or lease of real estate owned by the City of Oak Forest.
