Graduates earn 297 degrees, certificates from Northwestern College-Southwestern Campus

About 90.2 percent of the 297 degrees and certificates handed out by Northwestern College-Southwestern Campus in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Bridgeview conferred 160 associate's degrees and 108 certificates in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in registered nursing/registered nurse. Data shows the school gave out 109 associate's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse, followed by 87 certificates in medical/clinical assistant and 25 associate's degrees in health information/medical records technology/technician.

The college enrolled 597 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
