Tracy Sudwall Vice-President Certified of the AFT Local 604 read a statement to the Board from Karen Brennan, Union President. The Union states that the Union Executive Board was unable to have an informed position to support the Districts plan to reopen school. The Union stated that documents pertaining to the plan were not provided to them and that a member of the Union Executive Board was not on the District’s Instructional Academic Team. Superintendent Amadio clarified that Union Board members were on all the Districts transition teams and that the request for Union members to be on the teams did not state they needed to be Executive Board members.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Member Cordes moved, seconded by Member Karwowski , to enter into Executive Session at 5:05 pm to discuss:

INFORMATION ITEMS
Assistant Superintendent Mary Kay Entsminger shared a presentation outlining the Districts Plan to begin the school year on a full remote schedule. Superintendent Thomas Amadio and Assistant Superintendent Mary Kay Entsminger answered a multitude of questions regarding the staff and parents concerns regarding this remote learning plan.
