Robbins Fire District responded to 107 calls in 2018 - 122.9 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Robbins included 37 fires - 22 structure fires, three vehicle fires and 12 other fires. The fire department also responded to two calls for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $261,820 in fire loss - or about $7,076 per fire.

The department also received 68 false calls, including one malicious call and 67 other false calls.

The calls resulted in one civilian fire-related injury. Additionally, one fire service member was injured in fire-related incidents.
