Garden Homes Fire Protection District responded to 25 calls in 2018 - 53.7 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Garden Homes included 19 fires - 16 structure fires and three other fires.

The department also received six false calls, including one malicious call and five other false calls.

The calls resulted in one civilian non-fire death.

The Garden Homes Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $88,468 in 2018.
