A. Approval of an agreement with the lowest cost energy supplier and authorization of theCity Administrator to execute a three-year contract with Direct Energy to supply energy for the City of Oak Forest’s accounts. 9. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

A. Approval of Ordinance No. 2020-11-0812O granting a variation to allow a fence with the finished side facing the applicant’s property in the required rear yard at 4734 West 155th Street in a R3 – Single Family Zoning District. Tabled from the November 10, 2020meeting of the Oak Forest City Council. The attached memo from Building Commissioner Forbes, dated November 18, 2020, and previous documentation fromCommunity Planner Ruane, dated November 5, 2020, provide supporting details.

B. Approval of Resolution No. 2020-11-0387R supporting an application to the Cook CountyAssessor for a Class 8 property tax incentive application for property located at 5730 West159th Street. The attached memo from Economic & Community Development Director Bandstra, dated November 18, 2020, provides supporting details.

CITIZENS PARTICIPATION: The Oak Forest City Council invites public comment at its meetings, but it generally does not have the ability to provide an immediate response to some questions raised during the CitizensParticipation portion of a council meeting without some reasonable opportunity to review them. Therefore, the City Council encourages questions to also be submitted in writing in the event that they need to be referred to City staff to help assure a more thoughtful and informed response. THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IS OPEN FORTHE PUBLIC TO ATTEND. SOCIAL DISTANCING MUST BE MAINTAINED BY ATTENDEES.
