City of Burbank City Council met Nov. 25.

CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by Alderman Robert Contreras in the Council Chambers at 6530 West 79tr Street Burbank Il.
ROLL CALL Alderman Contreras requested a roll call which indicated the following members present: Alderwoman Barb Gagle, Alderman Robert Contreras. Alderwoman Sheri Gustafson. Alderman Claude Haerr, Alderman John Pacella, Alderman Mitchell Piznarski, Alderman Jason Pyle, Clerk Barry J- Szymczak and Treasurer Dean Viverito- Absent Mayor Dan M. Foy. Alderman Contreras made a motion seconded by Alderwoman Gagle to appoint Alderman Jason Pyle as temporary Chair for the Council meeting. A roll call indicated 7 Ayei and 0 Nays. Voting Aye: Alderwoman Gagle, Alderman Contreras. Alderwoman Gustafson, Alderman Haerr. Alderman Pacella Alderman Piznarski and Alderman Pyle.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Alderman Pyle asked all to rise for the pledge of Allegiance.
JOURNAL Alderman Pyle asked for a motion to approve the minutes of October 28,2020. The motion was made by Alderman Haerr and seconded by Alderman Contreras with unanimous approval by voice vote and so declared bv the Chair.
CURRENT BILLS Alderman Pyle then asked for a motion to approve the current list of bills. The motion was made by Alderman Contreras and seconded by Alderwoman Gagle. A roll call indicated 7 Ayes and 0 Nays. Voting Aye: Alderwoman Gagle, Alderman Contreras, Alderwoman Gustafson, Alderman Haerr. Alderman Pacella" Alderman Piznarski and Alderman Pyle"
CLERK'S REPORT Clerk Szymczak attended a bid opening on Tuesday Nov. 106 @City Halt in reference to the purchase of PPE equipment. Vendors submission of documents and products will be reviewed by Fire Dept. Administration officials.
ORDINANCES /RESOLUTIONS /PETITIONS Alderman Contreras made a motion seconded by Alderman Haerr to adopt the 2021 Council Committee Meeting Dates which include summer and holiday revisions- A roll call indicated 7 Ayes and 0 Nays- Voting Aye: Alderwoman Gagle, Alderman Contreras, Alderwoman Gustafson, Alderman Haerr, Alderman Pacella, Alderman Piznarski and Alderman Pyle.

ORDINANCES /RESOLUTIONS /PETITIONS(coNT'D) Alderman Piznarski made a motion seconded by Alderman Pacella to adopt Ordinance # 3o-ll-20 for the property located at 8557 South Newland Burbank Il. requesting a variation for install a 6, privacy fence on front yard side set back and to waive any starting date restrictions. A roll call indicated 7 Ayes and 0 Nays. Voting Aye: Alderman Gagle, Alderman Contreras, Alderman Gustafson, Alderman Haerr, Alderman Pacella Alderman Piznarski and Alderman pyle.
Alderman Piznarski made a motion seconded by Alderman Pacella to adopt Ordinance # 31-11-20 for the property located at 7750 South Menard Ave. Burbank Il. requesting a variation to install a 6, privacy fence on front yard side set back with no starting date restrictions. A roll call indicated 7 Aves and 0 Nays- Voting Aye: Alderwoman Gagle, Alderman Contreras, Alderwoman Gustafson, Alderman Haerr, Alderman Pacella, Alderman piznarski and Alderman Pyle.
Alderman Piznarski made a motion seconded by Alderman Pacella to adopt Ordinance # 32-ll-20 for the property located at 8301 South Narragansett Burbank Il. requesting a variation to install a 6, privacy fence m front yard side set back with no starting date restriction A roll call indicated 7 Ayes and 0 Nays. Voting Aye: Alderwoman Gagle, Alderman Contreras, Alderwoman Gustafson, Alderman Haerr, Alderman Pacella. Alderman piznarski and Alderman Pyle.
Alderman Contreras made a motion seconded by Alderwoman Gustafson to ask the City Attorney to prepare an ordinance for Petition #20-10-l B-Rocks 2.LLC Vince Barraco 5900 West 79 Street Burbank, Il. requesting a re-zoning to a Mixed Use Commercial Building with a restaurant and an apartment- This was approved by Zoning. A roll call indicated 7 Ayes and 0 Nays. Voting Aye: Alderwoman Gagle. Alderman Contreras. Alderwoan Gustafson, Alderman Haerr. Alderman Pacella, Alderman Piznarski and Alderman Pyle.
Alderman Contreras made a motion seconded by Alderwoman Gustafson to ask the City Attorney to prepare an ordinance for Petition#?O-10-2 Yazmin Navarrete 7600 S. Latrobe Burbank, Il requesting a variation to install a 5' privacy fence on front yard side set back. This was approved by Zoning- A roll call indicated 7 Ayes and 0 Nays. Voting Aye: Alderwoman Gagle, Alderman Contreras, Alderwoman Gustafson, Alderman Haerr, Alderman Pacella Alderman piznarski and Alderman Pyle.
Alderman Contreras made a motion seconded by Alderwoman Gustafson to ask the City Attorney to prepare an ordinance for Petition #20-10-3 Jorge Torres 7801 S. Newcastle Burbank Il. requesting a variation to install a 6" privacy fence on front yard side set back. This was approved by Zoning. A roll call indicated 7 Ayes and 0 Nays. Voting Aye: Alderwoman Gagle, Alderman Contreras, Alderwoman Gustafson, Alderman Haerr, Alderman Pacella, Alderman Piznarski and Alderman Pyle.
COMMITTEE REPORTS No committee reports were filed for this meeting.
POLICE DEPT. REPORT Chief Shore had no report to file for the Council meeting.
FIRE DEPT. REPORT Chief Gilgenberg reported that all covid-related absences of staff are recovered and back on duty.
BUILDING & ZONING REPORT Commissioner Ricchiuto had no report to file for the Council meeting.
PUBLIC WORKS REPORT Director Burris reported that 2 covid-related, absences have recovered and returned to work.
CITY ENGINEER REPORT No report was filed for the council meeting.
CITIZEN'S REPORT The Chair recognized Frank Pryztu|a 129 Pinehurst Court who had a concern about the surrendering of unused drugs to the Police Departmnent. Chief Shore spoke with Mr. pryztula after the meeting.
ADMINISTRATION Alderman Pyle, on behalf of Mayor Foy and the City Council, wished all in attendance a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving.
ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, the Chair asked for a motion to adjourn. The motion was made by Alderman Contreras and seconded by Alderman pacella with unanimous approval and so declared by the Chair- The meeting was adjourned at 7:35 P.M.
