Village of Evergreen Park issued the following announcement on Jan. 8.
Mayor Sexton and State Representative Kelly Burke are very concerned about the problems that our residents are having with service from the Evergreen Park branch of the U.S. Post Office. We are very concerned about these problems and we will be asking our federal representatives to help improve the situation.
In order to gather and disseminate the best information, we need your input. If you have any first-hand problems or concerns related to service at, or by, the Evergreen Park Post Office, please take a moment to let us know.
Please include your name and address and be as specific as possible when describing your concerns, including approximate dates an times. Comments such as "I did not receive mail on six consecutive days in December, which caused my medications and important correspondence to be delayed" is much more effective than "they lost my mail."
