PERMANENT SIGN REQUEST – 11849 Southwest Highway (Dunkin’ Donuts)

Wally from Strictly Neon, Inc. explained that Dunkin’ Donuts would like to add an additional sign to the side of their new building. The sign would be 42” tall, which exceeds the code by 18”.

DRIVEWAY REQUEST – 12844 Winnebago Road (Kaciu)

Mr. Kaciu explained that his existing driveway cannot accommodate the number of vehicles currently in the household. He presented his request for an additional driveway and walkway to connect the existing with the new driveways. The proposed project would total 47% lot coverage, which is 17% (or 471.8 sq. ft.) over the maximum allowable by code.

The Committee discussed, and agreed that 17% over code is too much. Committee members discussed potential options with Mr. Kaciu. The Committee directed Chris Kransberger to work with Mr. Kaciu to reduce the overage and present a revised proposal at the next meeting. This item is TABLED.
