Report: Sandridge School District spent $12,658 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Sandridge School District 172 was up 22.3 percent from five years ago, according to the South Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $10,350 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,658 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 354 to 324 students over the same period.

Sandridge's spending in 2019-20 was 12.7 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
