Report: Orland School District spent $15,844 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Orland School District 135 was down 0.6 percent from five years ago, according to the South Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $15,945 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,844 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 4,958 to 5,198 students over the same period.

Orland's spending in 2019-20 was 9.3 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
