Village of Bridgeview Personnel Board met Oct. 11.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
Chairman Lewis called the meeting of the Personnel Board to order at 6:02pm.
Roll Call indicated that Members Ahmad, Gholeh, Regep and Chairman Lewis were present. There was a quorum. Also present was Secretary to the Personnel Board, Cathy Siciliano.
Chairman Lewis looked for a motion to go into closed session for matters of personnel where interviews would be held. Motion was made by Member Gholeh and seconded by Member Ahmad. Roll call vote:
AYES: Members Ahmad, Gholeh and Chairman Lewis.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Member Mazarka.
There being four ayes, no nays and one absent, the MOTION CARRIED.
The Personnel Board went into closed session at 6:03pm.
The Personnel Board went back into open session at 7:20pm.
The Board returned to open session with no action to be taken on closed session matters. Chairman Lewis stated that on Wednesday at 6:00pm, the Board will interview one candidate for Firefighter. He also stated that the Board could wrap up everybody and when the Board meets the following Tuesday for the last interview, the Board could finish up the “how we feel about each person.”
Chairman Lewis looked for a motion to adjourn. Motion was made by Member Ahmad and seconded by Member Gholeh. By voice vote, the MOTION CARRIED.
The meeting adjourned at 7:23pm.
