V. Reading of February 2023 Meeting Minutes
a. Trustee Brown motioned to accept the February 2023 meeting minutes; Trustee Rauch seconded the motion.

VI. Financial Report
a. TAW Invoice
i. Trustee Nunez made a motion to approve a payment of $135,674.11 to the City of Blue Island; Trustee Rauch seconded.

VII. Director’s Report > Reviewed
a. Building-New security system needs to be further investigated, the current system is outdated and needs to be updated.
b. Department Reports>reviewed Ms. Hasty will be attending the April meeting.
VIII. Unfinished Business
a. Review of IL Standards Chapter 3(Personnel)
i. We are currently in process of updating outdated sections of our employee manual, policies, and procedures to better reflect the new standards within the library.
IX. New Business
a. Bereavement Leave Update> Trustee Nunez made a motion to approve the new Bereavement Leave Policy update; Trustee Orozco seconded.

b. Review of IPLAR/Illinet Report
c. Collection Development Policy
i. No changes are to be made at this time, our current policy was updated in 2021 and request forms are available to the public.
X. Legal
a. ILA Legislative Update> Reviewed
b. Ritzman Memo, Trustees Peters, Martin, and Brown, terms are set to expire this year and applications will need to be submitted.
c. Illinois Paid Leave Legal Update, Illinois’ new policy is to begin on January 1st, 2024.
XI. General Communication:
a. Statement of Economic Interests are due in the coming months.
XII. Trustee motioned Meyer to adjourn; Trustee Nunez seconded.
