Chicago Ridge School District 127-5 Education: 892 white students were enrolled in schools in 2021-22 school year

There were 892 white students enrolled in Chicago Ridge School District 127-5 in the 2021-22 school year, 2.7% less than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that Chicago Ridge School District 127-5 welcomed 1,457 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 64.9% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.

Chicago Ridge School District 127-5 roughly covers schools within Cook County and has a main office in Chicago Ridge.

Among the three schools in Chicago Ridge School District 127-5, Ridge Lawn Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 387 students.

In 2022, Illinois had 1,925,415 students enrolled in a total of 3,977 schools. There were 130,467 teachers in the public schools, or roughly one teacher for every 15 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
