CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Landek called the Regular Meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Bridgeview to order at 12:03 PM, on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
PLEDGE
Mayor Landek led the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL
Roll Call indicated the following Trustees present:
Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Baste, Struzik, and Lewis
Absent: Trustee Pinion
Also Present: Mayor Landek, Clerk Altar, Attorney Cainkar, Police Chief Mancha, Fire Lieutenant Toczek, and HR Director Pannaralla.
2023-M-86 APPROVE MINUTES OF AUGUST 2, 2023
Motion by Trustee Lewis and seconded by Trustee Higginson to approve the minutes of the regularly scheduled Board Meeting of August 2, 2023. Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 5 - Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Baste, Struzik, and Lewis
NAYES: 0
ABSENT: 1 - Trustee Pinion
There being five affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
2023-M-87 APPOINTMENT OF BRUCE MOESER
Motion by Trustee Pticek and seconded by Trustee Higginson to approve the appointment of Bruce Moeser as the Village of Bridgeview electrical inspector. Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 5 - Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Baste, Struzik, and Lewis
NAYES: 0
ABSENT: 1- Trustee Pinion
There being five affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
2023-M-88 ORDINANCE NO. 23-15
Motion by Trustee Pticek and seconded by Trustee Higginson to approve Ordinance No. 23-15; An ordinance amending the municipal code of Bridgeview by increasing the bond of the President and the Village Clerk in Section 1-3-4 and Section 1-6-4.
Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 5 - Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Baste, Struzik. and Lewis
NAYES: 0
ABSENT: 1 - Trustee Pinion
There being five affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
2023-M-89 ORDINANCE NO. 23-12
Motion by Trustee Struzik and seconded by Trustee Lewis to Approve Ordinance No. 23-12; An Ordinance Approving an Agreement of the Village of Bridgeview with Press Properties Ltd. With Respect to the Property Located at 7674 West 79th Street, Bridgeview, Illinois and Identified as Pin 18-25-313-033-0000.
Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 5- Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Baste, Struzik, and Lewis
NAYES: 0
ABSENT: 1 - Trustee Pinion

Motion by Trustee Baste and seconded by Trustee Lewis to approve the Bills Payable as of August 16, 2023.

23-M-91 ORDINANCE NO. 23-14
Motion by Trustee Struzik and seconded by Trustee Higginson to approve Ordinance No. 23-14; an ordinance disconnecting certain territory from the Village of Bridgeview, Cook County, Illinois.

AYES: 5 - Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Baste, Struzik, and Lewis

ABSENT: 1 - Trustee Pinion
There being five affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
23-M-9 8400 S. 77TH AVE. SPECIAL USE PERMIT
Motion by Trustee Struzik and seconded by Trustee Lewis for the consideration of/action on the recommendation of the Zoning, Planning, and Development Commission for a special use permit to operate a truck transportation business with repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles only, upon property located at 8400 S. 77th Ave.
Upon roll call, the vote was:
