Community members gathered at Dolton Park on August 30, 2025, for the 2nd Annual All Cancer Awareness Walk. The event was organized by the Dolton Park District in partnership with UChicago Medicine.
Participants arrived at 9:30 a.m. to register and collect cancer awareness ribbons, which served as a symbol of their shared commitment to raising awareness about all types of cancer. The walk began at 10:00 a.m., guiding attendees through the park as a demonstration of unity in the fight against cancer.
The event ended just before noon, offering an opportunity for reflection and strengthening community resolve around cancer awareness efforts.
