Village of Bridgeview Personnel Board met Oct. 2.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
Chairman Regep called the special meeting of October 2, 2023 of the Personnel Board to order at 6:02pm.
Roll Call indicated that Chairman Regep and Members Pullum, Lopez and Gholeh were present. Absent was Member Mazarka. There was a quorum. Also absent was Attorney Zarzour (who arrived at 6:04pm). Present was Secretary to the Personnel Board, Cathy Siciliano.
Chairman Regep looked for a motion to go into closed session for interviews. Motion was made by Member Gholeh and seconded by Member Lopez to go into closed session for personnel matters regarding interviews. Roll call vote:
AYES: Chairman Regep and Members Pullum, Lopez and Gholeh.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Member Mazarka.
There being four ayes, one absent and no nays, the MOTION CARRIED.
Chairman Regep looked for a motion to approve the minutes of the meeting held on July 31, 2023. Motion was made by Member Lopez and seconded by Member Pullum. Roll call vote:
AYES: Chairman Regep and Members Pullum, Lopez and Gholeh .
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Member Mazarka.
There being four ayes, one absent and no nays, the MOTION CARRIED.
The Personnel Board went into closed session at 6:04pm.
The Personnel Board went back into open session at 7:09pm.
Chairman Regep stated that he would add up the scores from the interview sheets and call each individual member with the results. He then looked for a motion to recommend the three candidates have successfully completed what was required to be on the eligibility list and the list be in alphabetical order. This is only a recommendation. The Mayor will then inform us as to when the list will be posted. So the motion will be that the three candidates be listed since they fulfilled the requirements. Motion was made by Member Lopez and seconded by Member Gholeh. Roll call vote:
AYES: Chairman Regep, Members Pullum, Lopez and Gholeh.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Member Mazarka.

Chairman Regep looked for a motion to adjourn. Motion was made by Member Gholeh and seconded by Member Lopez. By voice vote, the MOTION CARRIED.
The meeting adjourned at 7:19pm.
