Peter P. Paciga, a 92-year-old US Army Veteran, passed away on October 4, 2024. He was the loving husband of the late Alice Paciga for 54 years and the devoted father of Kristen (John) Goliak. Peter was cherished as a grandfather by Nathan and Andrew Goliak and held dear as an uncle and great-uncle by many. Preceding him in death were his parents, Peter and Mary Paciga, along with siblings Marian (Michael) Rickson and Lillian (Joseph) Simmons.

Visitation for Peter will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, at Orland Funeral Home, 9900 W 143rd St, Orland Park, IL. Funeral services will commence at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, at Orland Funeral Home, proceeding to Our Lady of the Woods Church, 10731 W 131st St, Orland Park, IL for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Following the service, entombment will occur at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL.
