William "Bill" J. Mehler, Korean War Army Veteran and Dedicated Family Man, Passes Away

William "Bill" J. Mehler, a Korean War Army Veteran from Orland Park, Illinois, died. He was the beloved husband of Genevieve "Gen" and loving father of Gary Mehler. Bill was the devoted brother of Colette Suhy, Clement Mehler, and Rosalind Hirsch, and a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed swimming, biking, golfing, and reading, and was an active member of St. Mary Church in Mokena.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, with prayers beginning at 10:15 a.m. at Lawn Funeral Home in Tinley Park, IL. A Mass will follow at St. Mary Church at 11:00 a.m., and entombment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery with Military Honors. For more information, contact (708) 532-3100.
