A. Approval of Ordinance 2024-10-10440O authorizing a first amendment to the redevelopment agreement for the project located east of Cicero Avenue, south of 167th St. and northwest of I-57 between the City of Oak Forest and LPC Oak Forest, LP.

8. Public Works

A. Approval of revised Illinois Department of Transportation’s Joint Funding Agreement for engineering services from HR Green for the completion of the Phase II study for the Various Locations Sidewalk Improvements Project (147th Street to 151st Street) in the amount of $79,320.00 with local match at $26,220.00. 

B. Approval of minimum one year contract with AEP Energy for energy supply for the City of Oak Forest’s electric accounts for a price not to exceed $0.05937/kWh for 12 months. See attached memo with supporting details from Public Works Director Michael Salamowicz.

Citizen Participation: The Oak Forest City Council invites public comment at its meetings, but it generally does not have the ability to provide an immediate response to some questions raised during the Citizens Participation portion of a council meeting without some reasonable opportunity to review them. Therefore, the City Council encourages questions to also be submitted in writing in the event that they need to be referred to City staff to help assure a more thoughtful and informed response. Individual comments are limited to three (3) minutes.

Executive session: The purpose of the executive session is the discussion of litigation, when and action against, affecting or on behalf of the particular public body has been filed and is pending before a court or administrative tribunal, or when the public body finds that an action is probable or imminent, in which case the basis for the finding must be recorded and entered into the minutes of the closed meeting 5 ILCS 120/(c) (11).
