Theresa L. Schumann, Beloved Registered Nurse and Family Member, Passes Away Peacefully

Orland Park - Theresa L. Schumann, a compassionate Registered Nurse known for her generosity, storytelling, passion for Chicago sports teams, and baking, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories within her family. Theresa took pride in her role as a nurse at Palos Township Health Service and Palos Hospital, serving the community with dedication.

Surviving Theresa are her brothers Paul (Mary) Schumann and Herb Jr. (Colleen) Schumann, sisters Grace (Charles) Gonwa and Laura (Jim) Lugge, and her nieces and nephews: Alex, Maggie, Lucas, Mackenzi, Charles Jr., Matt, Mary, Suzanne, Amanda, Rebecca, and Melissa.

She is preceded in death by her parents Pearl and Herb Schumann, her sister Peggy Schumann, and husband Roland McPhearson.

Theresa will be dearly missed but forever cherished by her family members.

A visitation for Theresa will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Orland Funeral Home in Orland Park, IL. A graveside service will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Palos Hills, IL.
