IV. PUBLIC HEARING: Granting a Special Use Permit the Construction and Operation of a Residential Apartment on the 2nd floor of the Commercial Building in the “C” Commercial District located at 9340 S Kedzie Ave.

5. Request Board approval of the following Ordinance(s):
A. ORDINANCE NO. 27-2024, “AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A RESIDENTIAL USE OF A PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE “C” COMMERCIAL DISTRICT AT 9340 S. KEDZIE AVENUE, EVERGREEN PARK, ILLINOIS”
6. Request Board approval for the following:
A. Declare a vacancy in the Police Department due to the resignation of one officer.
B. Authorize the hiring of one individual from the Probationary Patrol Officer Eligibility List.
7. Request Board approval for Affiliation Agreement Between Village of Evergreen Park and Moraine Valley Community College.
8. Request from Police Chief Micheal Saunders to sell a 2020 Ford Explorer #A55413
9. Village Engineer, Tim Klass’s report.
10. Village Attorney, Vincent Cainkar’s report.
11. Reports on bid openings and bid lettings and disbursements.

13. Request adjournment.
VI. ADJOURNMENT: The Open Meeting Act provides for public bodies to meet in session closed to the public to discuss certain subject matters. No official action can be taken at a closed session; therefore, any decision reached by the Board will be ratified at a subsequent public meeting.
To facilitate closing this building during the continued meetings, we would appreciate your vacating the Council Chambers in a timely fashion.
