Richard L. Reynolds Mourned by Loved Ones Frankfort Resident and U.S. Army Veteran Passes Away at 77

Richard L. Reynolds, a U.S. Army Veteran and devoted member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 77. Richard, a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, additionally dedicated his time to the American Legion and Hamfesters Ham Radio Club. He cherished moments with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara J. Reynolds, Richard was the father of Megan (Larry) Walsh and the late Lewis (Regina) Reynolds. He was the grandfather of Daniel, Michael, and Rocco, and the son of the late Lewis and Stella Reynolds. Richard is also remembered as a caring brother and uncle to his late sibling Vera (the late Bill) Burkhard and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Richard L. Reynolds will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Vandenberg Funeral Home in Tinley Park, IL. The Funeral Service will take place on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Frankfort, with interment at Chapel Hill South Cemetery following, including military honors.
