Orland Park, IL — Lynne Kay Wiegers, nee Bandringa, passed away at the age of 80. She was the cherished wife of the late Bernard "Bernie" Wiegers for 60 years. Lynne is survived by her children Brian, Craig (Deborah), Brett (Nancy), Tammy Marek, Trisha (Wayne) Boss, and David (Torie). She was a loving grandmother to Casey (Andrew) Kowitz, Abby (Alex) Freitag, Amanda (Nicolas) Novacek, Kadee (Simon) Summers, Nathan, Justin, Brandon, Daniel Wiegers, Vincent, Joseph Marek, Liz (Derek) Boomsma, Brittany (Jeremy) Karr, Kylie (Zim) Rivas, Mickey (Colton) DeJong, and the late Zachary Boss. Lynne was a proud great-grandmother to Zach, Lily, Maddie, Daisy, Ivy, Levi, Violet, Cooper, and Claire. She is survived by her sister Carol (late Dan) Beland and fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024, from 3-8 p.m., with the Funeral Service taking place on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Colonial Chapel in Orland Park, IL. The service will be live-streamed via Lynne's obituary on the Colonial Chapel website. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens South in Oak Lawn, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Chicago Christian Schools in Palos Heights, IL. Online donations can be made, designating "School - In Memory/Honor of a Loved One."
