1) Ordinance No. : An ordinance making appropriations for corporate purposes for the city of Harvey – fiscal year beginning May 1, 2024, and ending April 30, 2025.
This ordinance approves the budget for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2024, and ending April 30, 2025.
2) Ordinance No. : An ordinance levying taxes in the city of Harvey for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2024, and ending April 30, 2025.
This ordinance approves the amount of taxes to be levied upon all property within the city of Harvey subject to taxation for fiscal year beginning May 1, 2024, and ending April 30, 2025.
3) Ordinance No. : An ordinance establishing remedies available to the city to address businesses operating in violation of the city’s code.
This ordinance amends chapter 5-02 of the city code by adding a new subsection C authorizing the city to seek an injunction, temporary restraining order, an abatement, or other appropriate action to enjoin, abate or stop any violation of this chapter.
4) Ordinance No. : An ordinance approving a Special Use Permit (SUP) for D’Lopez Tire Shop at 16203 S. Halsted Street.
This ordinance approves a Special Use Permit (SUP) with six (6) additional requirements as outlined in section 4.A of the SUP for an auto-related business (D’Lopez Tire Shop) at 16203 S. Halsted Street.
5) Resolution No. : A resolution approving real estate sale agreement with Highest Ground LLC regarding property located at 16950 S. Halsted Street.
This resolution approves the sale of city-owned property at 16950 S. Halsted Street for the use of a cannabis dispensary, for which the city will receive both property and retail sales tax.
6) Ordinance No. : An ordinance approving a Special Use Permit (SUP) Nuera Retail LLC., at 16950 S. Halsted Street.
This ordinance approves a Special Use Permit (SUP) with seven (7) additional requirements as outlined in section 4.A of the SUP for a cannabis dispensary (NuEra) to be located at 16950 S. Halsted Street.
7) Resolution No. : A resolution approving a redevelopment agreement for J&T Group of Illinois LLC. – Comprehensive Housing Program.
This resolution approves a Redevelopment Agreement between the city of Harvey and the J&T Group, who will purchase city-owned properties via a judicial or tax deed to improve housing stock and increase home ownership by rehabilitating existing structures, demolishing vacant and dilapidated buildings, and building new single-family homes.
