Village of Bridgeview Board of Trustees met Nov. 20

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

CALL TO ORDER The Regular Meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Bridgeview was called to order by Mayor Landek at 12:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. 

PLEDGE Mayor Landek led the Pledge of Allegiance. 

ROLL CALL Roll Call indicated the following Trustees present: Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Pinion, Baste, and Lewis. 

Roll Call indicated the following Trustees absent: Trustee Struzik. 

Also Present: Mayor Landek, Clerk Altar, Attorney Cainkar, Police Commander Case, Fire Chief Grzadziel, and Human Resources Director Pannaralla. 

2024-M-116 APPROVE MINUTES OF NOVEMBER 6, 2024 

Motion by Trustee Pinion and seconded by Trustee Higginson to approve the minutes of the regularly scheduled Board Meeting of November 6, 2024. Upon roll call, the vote was: 

AYES: 4 - Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Pinion, and Lewis. 

NAYES: 0 

ABSTAIN: 1 - Trustee Baste. 

ABSENT: 1- Trustee Struzik. 

There being four affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED

2024-M-117 APPROVE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT 

Motion by Trustee Higginson and seconded by Trustee Pinion to approve the Professional Services Agreement for Grants and Lobbying. 

Upon roll call, the vote was: 

AYES: 5- Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Pinion, Baste, and Lewis. 

NAYES: 0 

ABSENT: 1- Trustee Struzik. 

There being five affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED

2024-M-118 APPROVE BILLS PAYABLE 

Motion by Trustee Baste and seconded by Trustee Pinion to approve the Bills 

Payable as of November 20, 2024. 

Upon roll call, the vote was: 

AYES: 5 - Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Pinion, Baste, and Lewis.

NAYES: 0 

ABSENT: 1- Trustee Struzik. 

There being five affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED

2024-M-119 APPROVE ICRMT INSURANCE RENEWAL 

Motion by Trustee Baste and seconded by Trustee Lewis to approve the ICRMT Worker's Compensation and Property Liability Insurance Renewal for the Policy Year beginning on December 1, 2024, through November 30, 2025. Upon roll call, the vote was: 

AYES: 5 - Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Pinion, Baste, and Lewis.

NAYES: 0 

ABSENT: 1 - Trustee Struzik. 

There being five affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED

2024-M-120 APPROVE STADIUM INSURANCE RENEWAL

Motion by Trustee Baste and seconded by Trustee Pticek to approve the Stadium Insurance Renewal for the Policy Year beginning on December 1, 2024, through November 30, 2025. 

Upon roll call, the vote was: 

AYES: 5 - Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Pinion, Baste, and Lewis.

NAYES: 0 

ABSENT: 1- Trustee Struzik. 

There being five affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED 

Motion by Trustee Lewis and seconded by Trustee Higginson to adjourn the regular Board Meeting of November 20, 2024. 

2024-M-121 ADJOURN 

Upon roll call, the vote was: 

AYES: 5- Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Pinion, Baste, and Lewis. 

NAYES: 0 

ABSENT: 1- Trustee Struzik.
