Becky L. Pluister | Colonial Chapel Funeral Home & Crematory
As a mother of six, wife, and caregiver, Becky's home was a sanctuary for those in need of support and love, despite her aversion to housekeeping. Her role as a rock and lighthouse extended beyond her family, as she generously supported various charities and individuals in need, exemplifying her giving nature and fierce loyalty.
Becky's mischievous and playful demeanor endeared her to her grandchildren, whom she cherished dearly. Her mantra of "Carpe Diem" underscored her fearless approach to life, inspiring those around her to embrace every moment with authenticity and love.
Survived by her husband David Pluister, children, grandchildren, mother Elaine Maurer, and siblings, Becky leaves behind a legacy of love and fearlessness that will be missed by all who knew her. In honor of Becky's memory, the family requests acts of kindness for those in need and donations to Manna Ministry or The Grove Church.
A visitation to celebrate Becky's life will be held at Colonial Chapel in Orland Park on Sunday, December 15, 2024, followed by a Celebration of Life Service on Monday, December 16, 2024. All are welcome to join in honoring this remarkable woman.
