5. Discussion and action on the veto issued by Mayor Thaddeus M. Jones on December 12, 2024 “Mayor Thaddeus Jones, with powers described in section 2-194 of the City of Calumet City do hereby issue a Veto of the motion made by Alderman Patton and Seconded by Alderman Wilson. “As of the City Council Action of December 04, 2024, the following motion was made and approved: Alderman Patton moved, seconded by Alderman Wilson to direct the City Attorney to dismiss Case No.CH 5512 (City Clerk Records Destruction case) with immediate effect.”
6. Discussion and action on revised 2025 Holiday Calendar for the City of Calumet City.
7. Discussion and action on the emergency demolition of 412 155th Place. Further, direct Holland Asphalt to move forward with the demolition. Further, Direct the City Treasurer to issue payment to Holland Asphalt in the amount of $21,800 plus $450.00 permit fee to Cook County for Absetoos removal.
8. Part and/or all of the meeting may be held in Executive Session on employment/litigation matters.
