FOIA Request Sent to Worth School District 127 Regarding Enrollment of Non-U.S. Citizens on January 13, 2025

A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was submitted to Worth School District 127 on January 13, 2025. The request, sent by South Cook News, a media organization committed to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, seeks information regarding the number of non-U.S. citizens currently enrolled in the school district.

The inquiry specifically asked for the count of "migrants" (e.g., illegal aliens/non-U.S. citizens) enrolled in the school district at present. The request was made under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140, with a preference for receiving the data in an electronic format.
