Gary G. Wargowsky, a Vietnam War Army Veteran and retired Summit Police Lieutenant, passed away. He was the beloved husband of Carleen Wargowsky, father of Danielle Vander Veer and Jason Wargowsky, and grandfather of Dylan, Kylie, Autumn, Justin, and Blake. Wargowsky is survived by his brothers Tim, Tom, and Rich Wargowsky, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3-8 p.m. at Lawn Funeral Home in Orland Park, IL. The funeral service is set for Friday at 9:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. For more information, contact 708-429-3200.
