Orland Park, IL - Robert M. "Bob" Schoppen, 74, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, care, and devotion to his family and friends.

Bob shared a beautiful union of 55 years with his loving wife Clara. Together, they raised their daughter Margarita (Steve) Kranz. He was a proud Grandpa Bob to Aric, Ian, and Emily. Bob was known for his nurturing spirit and unwavering support for his family.

Son of the late Paul and Geraldine Schoppen, Bob was a beloved brother to Paula and Mary, and was preceded in death by his siblings Jim, Carol, Monica, and Jerry. He was a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews, leaving behind memories of love and kindness.

Bob will be remembered as an extraordinary caregiver, offering endless love and support to Clara and countless others. His greatest joys were his family, especially his wife Clara, and the tranquil moments spent at Siesta Key Beach. Bob's caring nature and dedication to his loved ones left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 4 p.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home in Orland Park, IL. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated to honor Bob's memory.
