Orland Park, IL - Samuel G. Smith, known affectionately as "Sammy," peacefully passed away at age 67. He was the cherished son of Bertha and the late Earl Smith.

Sammy was the loving brother of Shirley Curnal and Barbara Liedtke. He was the adored uncle of Jeremy (Meredith), Jennalyn, Kristi (Christopher), and Jillian (Ramon), and the dear great-uncle of Faye, Mia, Vivian, and Nina. Sammy was also the fond step-father of Christopher (Amanda) and step-grandfather of Calder.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home in Orland Park, IL. Interment will be private.

Family and friends are encouraged to share their memories and messages on Sammy's Tribute Wall to offer solace and support to his family in their time of remembrance.
