Jozefa Budz, formerly Gil, aged 66, passed away on February 17, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Jan Budz and the loving mother of Anna Budz (Krzysztof Chmielewski) and Bozena (Jozef) Slimak. Jozefa was the dear grandmother of Jessica Chmielewski, Konrad Chmielewski, Sylwia Slimak, and Patryk Slimak.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Helena (nee Pytel) and the late Jozef Gil and the fond sister of Janina (Jan) Budz, Czeslaw (Krystyna) Gil, and Stanislaw (Maria) Gil. Jozefa is survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A visitation to honor Jozefa's life will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois. The Funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday, February 22, 2025, with 9:00 AM Prayers and Procession from the funeral home to St. Fabian Church in Bridgeview, Illinois for a 10:00 AM Mass.

Interment will take place at Cmentarz Parafialny Lesnica, Poland.
