Janina Bukowska, known for her boundless generosity and warmth, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2025, in Orland Park, IL, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 59. Born on March 15, 1965, Janina's life exemplified the power of positivity and kindness.

She is survived by her daughters Małgorzata, Sylvia, and sons Zbigniew and Jozef, and was a cherished mother-in-law to Slawomir Dziadkowiec and Tim Huss. Her granddaughter, Cecilia Huss, held a special place in her heart, symbolizing the unbreakable family bond they shared.

Janina's vibrant spirit extended to her love for gardening, travel, and embracing new cultures. A believer in the healing power of nature, she nurtured growth and celebrated life's beauty. Her generosity touched many, inspiring them to seek more from life and appreciate its simple pleasures.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois. The funeral will take place on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, with prayers starting at 9:00 AM followed by a Mass at 10:00 AM at Saint Fabian Church in Bridgeview, Illinois. Cremation rites will be accorded.
